The Gerbing XR Heated gloves are the shorter version of the XRL heated motorcycle gloves. The XR gloves have a short cuff and can be worn under the sleeves of most jackets.
The power input plug is fixed on top of each glove and is designed to be connected through the Gerbing Long Y-Cable to the 12v battery of your vehicle through the supplied Gerbing battery hook-up. Like all our gloves, the XR Glove can also be powered directly through the integrated cuff plugs of the Gerbing Heated Jacket Liner. Due to the shorter style of this glove it is unsuitable for use with portable batteries. The XR gloves have the same knuckle protection as the XRL gloves. Our new Gerbing MicroWirePro® is incorporated throughout the whole hand, fingers and thumb. The integrated push button controller allows the wearer to regulate the temperature to suit their requirements. The XR glove has a waterproof Hypora™ membrane within the layers of the glove meaning that even if the rain should penetrate the leather, your hands will be kept warm and dry.
As with all leather goods, we recommend treating your gloves regularly with a leather protector such as Nikwax. This not only extends the life of your glove but also helps to keep the outer layer water resistant.
Moto65 will supply FREE 1 x NIKWAX Glove Proof with all Gerbing Heated Glove orders, as recommended by Gerbing.
The XR Glove comes supplied with a power connection kit. This contains a battery hook up cable and a Long Y-cable. Any additional cables required can be bought separately.

Start by measuring the hand you use the most. Then from the perimeter of the hand between the thumb and the fingers loop around and make a note of the size in CMs. Remember, if you are planning to wear undergloves as well, you may want to go up a size for comfort or if you fall in between sizes, choose the next largest size.
Note: With heated gloves it is important to ensure that there is no tension/rubbing across the knuckle area before use to prevent 'hot spots'. Therefore we advise that you tale the next size up if you are on the cusp of a larger size.
